Amy Norman, President & Chief Executive Officer
Amy is responsible for the overall operations of the organization and strategic planning to achieve the mission and goals of TBTF. She works closely with the TBTF Executive Committee and Board of Directors to deliver greater member value, align the strategy of the organization and focus on its mission to grow and promote Tampa Bay’s technology ecosystem.  Her key responsibilities include executive leadership, strategy, communication, member satisfaction, fiscal management and operations.  Amy joined the organization in early 2005. 

Prior to TBTF, Amy worked for a national not-for-profit healthcare organization, the American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP), as the Program Director. Responsible for fundraising and program development, Amy surpassed goals of revenue generation and attendance growth for all major annual events. Amy played a key role in executing and developing a national education initiative for early-stage kidney patients. Her position included traveling, both nationally and internationally, to foster programs for healthcare awareness and patient advocacy.

Amy graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications, with a focus on Public Relations.

Lori Taylor, Vice President of Marketing and Operations
As Vice President of Marketing & Operations, Lori manages the strategic marketing direction of TBTF’s programs and services, and fulfills specific areas of operations of the organization. In this role she is responsible for ensuring that valuable programs and services are successfully developed and marketed to the region’s technology industry, such as Peer Networks, Signature Events, membership benefits and strategic initiatives. She is also responsible for managing the organization’s Signature Events including coolTECH, the Industry Achievement Awards and Tech Trends. Lori joined TBTF in 2007 as the Director of Programs and was promoted to her current position in February 2010.

Lori has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and event management. Prior to joining TBTF, she served as the marketing and event manager for Ernst & Young’s Florida Practice, which included six offices across the state. In this role she was responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing programs and events targeted to executives from entrepreneurial companies to global corporations. She also served as the Florida program manager of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Awards program which produced numerous national award recipients. Lori also ran her own marketing and event management consulting firm serving large associations, universities, corporations and non-profits including TBTF prior to joining the organization.

She received her bachelor’s in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Florida State University. In 2001, she received her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation.

Jill Pearson, Director of Membership
As TBTF’s Director of Membership, Jill’s primary responsibilities are member recruitment and retention. Along with attracting companies to become new members of the organization, she also manages current members and ensures they are receiving the very best value in their membership. She does so by keeping a finger on the pulse of our members at all times to evaluate member value while assessing feedback to make improvements to TBTF’s programs and services. Jill works closely with the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategic membership goals that are aligned with our mission and vision. She is also responsible for managing the TBTF Membership Committee; working with numerous volunteers who assist with all aspects of recruitment and member engagement. Jill has been with TBTF since 2008 and was promoted to Director of Membership in February 2010.

Prior to joining TBTF, Jill worked at various advertising firms in Tampa, Rochester and Boston. Most recently, she was a senior account manager with Paradigm in Tampa, developing creative communication strategies for clients such as Cunard Cruise Lines, AT&T Wireless, BikesUSA, Lowry Park Zoo and the Tampa Bay Partnership. She also participated on the New Business Development team to research, present to and ultimately acquire clients.

Jill graduated from Boston University’s College of Communications with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.

Kimberly Wander, Events Manager
As Event Manager, Kimberly is responsible for planning, executing and assessing TBTF’s programs, events and educational activities. Kimberly’s role includes coordinating logistics for approximately 100 programs annually while ensuring member participation is a valuable experience at our events. She also maintains sponsor relationships throughout the entire event planning process. Kimberly has oversight of all TBTF peer networks; Sales Executives Network, Emerging Companies Network, Professional Women’s Network, CIO/CTO Network, and CEO Advisory Forum.  She also serves as the TBTF liaison on numerous volunteer steering committees. She also manages all aspects of event registrations, including developing invitations, maintaining the e-mail distribution lists and communications calendar. Kimberly joined the organization in October 2007 as the Event Coordinator and was promoted to the Event Manager position in February 2010.
 
Prior to TBTF, Kimberly completed an internship with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her duties included assisting in the planning and execution of fundraising events and helping the organization acquire donations. During her senior year at USF, she was an active member of the Tampa Bay chapter of the American Marketing Association. AMA helped Kimberly to better understand her major and gave her the education and resources needed to succeed after graduation.

She graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with a major in Marketing.
