Welcome Message from the Foundation Chairman

On behalf of the Tampa Bay Technology Forum Foundation, I’d like to say thank you for your interest. It is with enthusiasm and a commitment of giving back to the community, which has helped the TBTF Foundation fulfill and succeed in our mission, which is to encourage and equip disadvantaged youth of Tampa Bay to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

Founded in 2001 as a 501(c)3 organization, the Foundation is the charitable arm of the TBTF and provides a method for TBTF members to give back to the community.

Our programs such as Computer-rific, Career Days and the Scholarship program are all funded entirely through donations and support from corporate sponsorship. Since its inception, the TBTF Foundation has seen many positive changes with at-risk youth, who otherwise would languish in an overburdened educational and social system.

Children are our future, we need to continue to provide hope and assist them in furthering their education and help them achieve their dreams while creating a positive influence in the community. We recognize it is an extraordinarily difficult financial time. However, it is during times such as these, the children need our assistance the most in order to succeed and reach their full potential to become responsible, productive citizens in our community.
